Some information about dragonfruit growth lights.

Dragonfruits has very high requirements for light. You have to guarantee abundant light to meet its growth requirements. In the case of insufficient light, dragonfruit is more prone to excessive growth, which makes it difficult to bloom and bear fruit.

The light is especially during the flowering period. In the important transition from vegetative growth to reproductive growth, sufficient light must be ensured. Otherwise the plants will be difficult to differentiate into flower buds, and then they will not be able to bloom and bear fruit.

1. Better use on the lamps on the old branches over 6 months.

2. The environment temperature should be over 16℃.

If it is higher than 35°C or lower than 15°C, there will be problems of inhibition of root development, flower bud suppression and incomplete pollination, etc.

3. The light time is after sunset, 4-6hours everyday.  Aboutly 18:00pm-21:00pm, 22:00pm-01:00am. You can let the lights have a break time of 30mins-1hour.

The light hours can be adjusted according to the length of the daytime, in order to save the electricity cost.

4. In winter, minimum 4 hours compensation light time is needed. This is to break the period of dormancy. You can get more batches of fruits in off-season. The sales price can be much higher than other time.
